What is stock photography?
Stock photography is the business of providing a license to use a photograph from a collection of ready to use photos.

What is a royalty free license?
A royalty free license means you do not have to pay royalties for each use of the photograph. Your membership includes a royalty free license that allows you to use a photo as many times as you like without having to pay for each use. You will not know who else is using the image.

What uses does a Premium Royalty Free license allow?
High circulation newsletters and magazines, 200,000 and above

What usage is not allowed?
You cannot give away the photos
You cannot sell the photos
No company trademarks
No Logos
No pornographic uses

You cannot use a photo of a person in a manner endorsing a product or service unless you include a statement that the person is a model.

You cannot use a photo with a controversial subject matter or in an unflattering manner without including a statement that the person is a model.

How many photos can I download?
You may download as many photos as you like. There are no limits for current members.

Can I use the photos I download after my membership ends?
Yes, you may continue to use the photos you downloaded during your membership after your membership expires.

Can I share my username and password with my colleagues?
No, your subscription only allows one user. Please contact support@healthcarephotos.com for a multi-user license.

How do I purchase images?
Simply click on a membership plan. Fill in the form. Pay one low fee and download all the photos you need.

What if I forgot my password
Click on the "Forgot your password" link under the LOG-IN box and we will email your password to you. If you still have problems contact support@healthcarephotos.com

How do I change my username and password?
After you log-in you can change your username or password by clicking on My Account. The click on Change Username or Change Password.

How do I change my email?
After you log-in you can change your email by clicking on My Account. The click on Change Email.

How do I search?
Type a keyword or image number in the Quick Search box. On the search results page there will be thumbnail photos for you to browse.

How do I download a photo?
Click on the thumbnail photo you would like to download. You will come to the preview page which will show the four sizes available for Standard license members and six sizes for XXL and Premium License members. Under the "Download Now" menu, choose the size of photo you would like and a zip file will download to your desk top. Double-click the zip file on your desktop to open the photo.

What is a lightbox?
A lightbox is a folder on our website where you can organize and store your photo selections for future use. You can create a lightbox for each of your projects and even email or share your lightboxes with others. You must register to use the lightboxes.

How do I make a lightbox?
To create a lightbox: type a keyword in the Quick Search box, click the link under the thumbnail photo that you want to add to your lightbox. Select "New Lightbox" from the dropdown menu and name your new lightbox in the box below. Click the "Add" button to add the image to your lightbox.

How do I share a lightbox?
You can share your lightboxes by sharing the lightbox code. Go to your lightbox by clicking the "Lightbox" link and choose a lightbox from the dropdown menu. To the right of the dropdown menu you will find the blue lightbox code. Copy this code and send it to your friend. Your friend can paste this code into the Quick Search box on the homepage to view your lightbox.

What is your refund policy?
You must request a refund within three days of your purchase. A refund will only be made if you have download less than 10 images and you are willing to sign a statement that you have deleted all images downloaded and you will not use the images in any way whatsoever. A
$10 processing fee will be charged for refunds for charges incurred from banking and credit card institutions.

Can I edit or manipulate images?
Yes, you may edit and change the images any way you like, but you may not claim copyright of the derivative work created with images from HealthcarePhotos.com.

How do I remove my email?
Log-in and go to My Account. There you will find the remove from email list tab.

Can I sell the photos that I download?
No, you may not sell the photos, give away or redistribute the images.

Are your photos model released?
Yes, all photos with a recognizable face are model released. All model releases are on file at the Healthcarephotos.com offices.

What sizes do your photos come in?
The photos are in various sizes because we have many photographers contributing to HealthcarePhotos.com. Each photo can be downloaded in four different sizes up to 50MB.

Can I use the photos for my employers publications?
Yes, you may use the photos on behalf of your employer or client.

Can I use the photos on items for resale (T-shirts, mugs, screen savers, mouse pads)?
Yes, if you become a Premium member. The standard royalty free license does not include items for mass production. You may put photos on these items for personal use only if you have a standard membership.

Can I use your photos on templates?
Yes, if you become a Premium member. The Premium royalty free license does allow the use of photos on items for mass production.

Can I use your photos in online galleries?
No, the royalty free license does not include online galleries.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover and JCB credit cards. If you prefer, you may mail in a check or money order.

How do I know the site is secure for money transactions?
Our credit card transactions are secure because the information is encrypted as it travels to us and the information is not stored on our server once the transaction is complete. All IP addresses are recorded so we have a record of who made these transactions.
